World Cup
The world Cup is now perhaps the largest sports event in the world . It is a worldwide soccer event that is held every 4 years in different countries .
世界盃或許是目前最大的世界體育賽事。這是全世界的足球賽事，它每四年舉辦一次在不同的國家。
It was first held in Uruguay in 1930, and now it has become a global ceremony . The 18th World Cup was help in Germany in 2006, and the next World Cup is scheduled to be held in South Africa in 2010.

Harry Potter
Harry Potter is an orphan who lives with his aunt and uncle . They don't treat him very well . He has to sleep in a small closet under the stairs . His life is quite boring and uneventful . Then one day on Harry's birthday , a letter arrives for Harry , but his uncle destroys it. Yet the letters keep coming. Finally, 100 letters arrive. They are all invitations to study at Hogwart's Wizard School. Harry's uncle just does not have enough energy destroy them. So he finally gives one to Harry .
Harry Potter 是一位孤兒他和他的阿姨，叔叔住在一起。他們對代他非常不好。他睡在樓梯下的一間小房間。他的生活相當無聊、平淡無奇。有一天在Ｈarry Potter的生日，Ｈarry 收到一封信，但他的叔叔撕掉它。但信件還是一直來。最終，一百封信寄到。他們全是Hogwart's Wizard School的邀請函。Ｈarry的叔叔沒有力氣撕毀這些信。最後，他給Ｈarry一封信。
Harry accepts the invitation. He leaves his aunt and uncle's house . He comes to a wonderful place . At the school he learns many things . He hatches a dragon, plays the aerial sport Quidditch , and casts spells . He makes many friends . Finally, he meets his destiny . His life is exciting and eventful . Riding on an Airplane
Riding airplanes
is always fun. Just the thought of flying high in the sky
is exciting. The
flight attendants are very nice and they
try to make your trip
as comfortable as possible. If you
are on a long distance flight, you even
get to watch a movie. Some
airlines even have a personal
screen for each seat so
passengers can
conveniently watch a movie or TV program of their choice. The food may not
be that delicious, but most flights
offer a variety of menus to choose from.

Something unusual happened at our school today. I was in math class as usual at that time when suddenly the fire alarm went off ! Some people were scared, and screamed, but I didn't. I was startled , but was too curious to be scard. In fact, I thought it was just a drill. For me, the worst part was the firealarm itself. It was so loud!

For hundreds of years, people thought that the Sun moved around the Earth. This was only natural because when we see the Sun rise in the morning and set in the evening, we can only think that the Sun is moving around us.
幾百年前,人們認為太陽是繞著地球轉的.這是理所當然的,當我們早晨看到太陽升起,在傍晚時降下.我們一般認為太陽正繞著我們運轉.
But one man didn't agree whith this idea. He said if the Sun is moving around the Earth, we cannot explain the movement of Venus . This man finally concluded the Sun doesn't move around the Earth, but the Earth moves around the Sun. This man's name is Copernicus.
